What stays on your device
- Your customers and projects — company and contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, job numbers, locations, and notes.
- Your invoices and pay applications — amounts, retainage, due dates, and status.
- The payments and reversals you record, payment promises, and your notes about calls, emails, and texts.
- Your business profile, if you fill one in, which appears on payment packets you create.
- Documents you attach, and your reminder and display preferences.
None of this is transmitted to RJK Digital Ventures or to anyone else. PayKeep contains no networking code of its own, and includes no analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting software.
If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may pass us anonymised crash reports under Apple's terms. These describe what the app was doing when it crashed, not the contents of your records.
Documents and photos
You can attach PDFs and photos to a project or payment record. PayKeep receives only the file or photo you pick — it does not ask for access to your photo library. Each document is copied into PayKeep's private storage on your device and protected by iOS file encryption, which keeps it unreadable while your device is locked. The original file is not changed.
Camera
PayKeep asks for camera access only when you choose Scan Document, a PayKeep Pro feature. Scanned pages are saved as a PDF on your device and are not uploaded. You can delete a scan at any time from the record it is attached to.
Reading your documents
When you scan a document, text recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. PayKeep uses the recognised text only to suggest values — such as an invoice number, amount, or due date — for you to check before anything is saved.
The recognised text is discarded once you confirm; the scanned document itself is what PayKeep keeps. No image and no recognised text is sent to RJK Digital Ventures or to any other service.
Notifications
Payment reminders are local notifications scheduled by iOS on your device. They are not delivered through any server. PayKeep asks for permission only when you turn a reminder on, and reminders shown on your lock screen never include customer names, amounts, or invoice numbers.
Exports and payment packets
CSV exports and PDF payment packets are created only when you ask for one. PayKeep hands the file to the iOS share sheet and you choose where it goes; PayKeep does not send it anywhere itself. Temporary copies are kept in the app's cache, and old copies are cleared out automatically.
Subscriptions
PayKeep Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment and tells PayKeep only whether an active subscription exists. PayKeep never sees your name, payment details, or Apple Account. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Contacting support
Contact Support opens your own email app with a new message addressed to us. PayKeep does not attach your records, documents, exports, or diagnostic information — you decide what, if anything, to send.
Backups
Because your records and documents are stored in the app's normal storage, they are included in your device backups. If you have iCloud Backup switched on, a copy is held in your iCloud account under Apple's terms. RJK Digital Ventures has no access to those backups. PayKeep does not sync your records between devices.
Children
PayKeep is a business tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete All PayKeep Data removes every customer, project, payment record, note, and attached document from your device, and cancels any pending reminders. It does not cancel your subscription; manage that in your Apple Account settings.
Copies may remain in earlier device or iCloud backups, which are controlled by Apple and your backup settings rather than by PayKeep. Deleting PayKeep from your device also removes everything it stored. As nothing is held elsewhere, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf and no request to make.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Any change that affects how information is handled will also be described in the app's release notes.
