Agreement
These terms apply to the EquipKeep app published by RJK Digital Ventures LLC. Your use of EquipKeep is also governed by Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement, which applies to apps distributed through the App Store. Where these terms and Apple’s agreement differ on a matter Apple’s agreement covers, Apple’s agreement governs.
Licence
You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use EquipKeep on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not resell the app, reverse engineer it, or attempt to defeat its subscription controls.
The free tier
EquipKeep’s free tier is not a time-limited trial and does not expire. It covers up to three pieces of equipment with one maintenance schedule each, along with service history, documents, warranty reminders and the equipment health dashboard.
EquipKeep Pro
EquipKeep Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered at $7.99 per month or $49.99 per year, with prices in other regions set by Apple’s pricing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings on your device, under your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Apple handles all billing, cancellations and refund requests; we cannot process a refund on Apple’s behalf. Refunds are requested through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If a subscription ends
Nothing you have entered is deleted when Pro lapses. All existing records remain readable, editable and exportable. Only the creation of new items beyond the free limits is paused. If you had more than three pieces of equipment as a Pro subscriber, every one of them is kept; you are simply prevented from adding another until you are back under the limit or subscribe again.
Your records and your backups
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your own backups. EquipKeep stores data on your device and, when iCloud is enabled, in your private iCloud database. We hold no copy and therefore cannot restore your records if a device is lost, if iCloud is disabled, or if data is deleted.
Not professional advice
EquipKeep organises maintenance information you supply. It does not certify that equipment is safe, roadworthy, compliant or fit for use, and it does not provide legal, regulatory, safety, insurance, tax or engineering advice. Maintenance intervals and inspection checklists in the app are the ones you enter; they are not recommendations from us and they do not replace a manufacturer’s service schedule, a qualified technician’s judgement, or any inspection required by law. Decisions about operating, servicing or retiring equipment remain yours.
Availability
Features may vary by app version, device, operating system, region and subscription status. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and support for older operating system versions may end.
Disclaimer of warranties
EquipKeep is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that reminders will always be delivered, since delivery depends on your device, its settings and iOS.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RJK Digital Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, equipment damage, downtime, or missed maintenance, arising from your use of or inability to use EquipKeep. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Termination
You may stop using EquipKeep at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if these terms are breached. Sections covering disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law survive termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing here limits any consumer right you have under the law of your country of residence that cannot be waived by agreement.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change we will update the effective date above and publish the revised version at this address.
