ComplyBox does not collect your data. There is no account, no ComplyBox server, and no analytics. Everything you enter stays on your device.
None of this is transmitted anywhere. The app contains no networking code and links no networking frameworks.
ComplyBox asks for camera access only when you choose to scan a document. The resulting images are saved on your device and are not uploaded. You can remove a scan at any time from the item's detail screen.
Text recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No image and no recognised text is sent to ComplyBox or to any other service.
Reminders are local notifications scheduled by iOS on your device. They are not delivered through any server.
ComplyBox Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment and tells ComplyBox only whether an active subscription exists. ComplyBox never sees your name, payment details, or Apple Account. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Because your items and scans are stored in the app's normal storage, they are included in your device backups. If you have iCloud Backup switched on, a copy is held in your iCloud account under Apple's terms. ComplyBox has no access to those backups. Switching off iCloud Backup, or excluding ComplyBox from it, keeps everything on the device alone.
ComplyBox is a business tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.
Delete an item in the app to remove it and its scan. Deleting ComplyBox from your device removes everything it stored. As nothing is held elsewhere, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf and no request to make.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Any change that affects how information is handled will also be described in the app's release notes.
